Coronet has been dead since JTL hit really, Theed took over then. Also there is a significant bit of people in Mos Eisley, but thats expected since its the starting city, its always been like that. Go check out some big top player cities maybe, or Dant Mining Outpost. |

Both theed and coronet were dead. I'd think restuss should have the highest number of players, since the pvp is there.
Not that many though. I had no credits so i coulden't travel via shuttels |

That's actually not too bad considering the age and reputation of the game. |

No one just "hangs" out at the cities anymore. Nothing to sell, nothing to buy. Eisley is about the only place people will just hang out. The village is a big place to find people. Any of the instance places, try lok, you'll actually find people there. Look for rebel base bust and visit then. You'll find all kinds of people then. |

Its not bad, but its still not pre-cu levels. Lets not forget that many might have moved to the high pop servers. So of course those popular servers are going to have more people then it used to, many left theirs to play with other like-minded players. |

The game is nearly 6 years old now. How many MMOs are doing so well after 6 years? Age of Connan at release kicked ass compared to how many people were there after the game reach its 6 year point! I mean come on, Age of Connan probably won't be around in 6 years. How many others will be so strong? Dungeons and Dragons? LotR? It really is silly to compare the two and say SWG is a failure because it doesn't have as many people as it used to have. TR, Vanguard, sure they were flops. |

I would venture to say all of them. WoW, EQ2, The Matrix Online, CoH, DDO, Ragnarok... I've seen the servers for all those games this last year, and the towns there are a hell of a lot more busy than what I see here on Galaxies busiest server. You know, I think even Tabula Rasa looks like it had more people than that around.
I don't think it's "silly" to call SWG a failure. They lost around 90% of their original playerbase and now, outside of Mos Eisley, you really don't see anyone. That's not retiring gracefully, that's falling on your face. |

They revamped the game twice, and both times it turned out the game having less subs.
Thats a failure. |

c-net died on my server the first day of the CU when they got rid of doc buffs. JTL killed Bestine on my server for some reason. . After that the entertainers just hung out in theed, and ME. |

So, it's just like I thought.
They are consolidating all of the servers and they are still empty.
There were more people than that playing even during the CU on Tarq of all servers. /shrug
I suppose we'll hear the usual "all the players are cloaked" "all the players are in space" "all the players are on instanced missions" bullshit excuses.
Whatever.
Enjoy your dead game. |

People wanted to know if there was alot of "players" on the heavy populated servers. Not really sure if there are new places to hang out and such. It does look like an improvement, but no way is there more players on starstrider or anyother server than it used to.
I proved a point. |

JTL killed Coronet on Shadowfire, my server. Before JTL Theed was dead, after JTL Theed became the main hub. |

Looked pretty much like that for me yesterday. Although Europe-Chimera (or some other of the EU servers) had a Heavy as well. |

Does anyone remember when the devs changes the variables on that screen when one hour all the servers were light and a hour later they were all medium.
Variable changed light = 500 to light = 100, just a example.
Load variable can be changed at anytime to suit the devs. |
